Our Pueblo trips always have some sort of collateral damage every year. We just didn't know it was going to happen on our way down to Pueblo! This year, our damage was a result of a blown tire. Thank goodness for friends who stop, their AAA connection and a lovely spare that just needed a little air. Back on the road and ready for a Coors Lite! I think we Earned it!
You don't even know how many pics Amy went through in order to get this "one nice pic" of our Pueblo crew. Lets just leave it at too many. Everyone finally promised one nice picture at pueblo and promised nothing after that. Seems fair!
Yes, it's true... We can't put all Pueblo shots online in case anyone ever wants to run for president. The gist of the trip was a bunch of lazy time on the big island, some swimming time for those who wanted a bit of exercise and canoe or paddle board for those who wanted a bigger workout. This year, we decided to start Rich Man Camping. Yes, Camping in style on a nice, lush lawn ~ complete with indoor plumbing. Erika's brother, Joe, invited us to camp in his backyard! Little did he know what he was in for with this crew. I think we were all on our best behavior with the threat of Joe and Brittney having the ability to turn on their sprinkler system at any time.
Evenings were filled with great food, awesome flame torched campfires, very large games of jenga and of course beverages. Even with the amount of beverages, we were all able to get up bright and early for some more lake time. We even found some time for water sports!
Another year in the books for the Annual Pueblo trip with our friends. It always reminds me how blessed we are to have such an amazing crew surrounding us on our adventures. Can't wait to see what is in store for next year. Hopefully, we can work out scheduling to get the Prehms and Sivahops back at camp next year!
