Future Hockey Stars

These kids have always enjoyed watching hockey and playing street hockey in our culdesac.  The bar was raised when they watched several of Brody's hockey games in ND this past Christmas.  They wanted to learn on the ice!  First Step... Ice Skating Lessons!  Gotta learn to stand, fall and get up before you add any hockey sticks.

First day of skate school... This required a very supportive fan base.  Good thing we know where to find some of their biggest fans.

Day one was a lot of falling, but overall they ended up with smiles on their faces and a desire to learn more!

Each session is 9 weeks and we are just now ending our first session.  Crazy how fast they have learned.  Must be their great teacher (Ms Jodi pictured above) and all the extra practice with mom and dad!  They have lessons every Monday and we have tried to bring them on Thurs/Sat for some extra ice time.  They are doing Excellent!
