Kris' Honey Do List

Kris' parents have been really helpful during their stay in Colorado and Amy has tried to keep Kris as busy as possible by making a honey do list for him. One project has been on our radar for some time. We had an area in the corner of our lot that was pretty much wasted space where wild flowers grew. It had a steep incline, so not much could be done with it. We finally decided the perfect idea! Dig it down and build a shed into the hill!
Before
Kris' parents were on board and we started as soon as we could. Kasey and Karsten loved to help with all the digging and even got to find a worm or two!

Don't worry Gpa I've got this .

Break time after all of that hammering.

Now that the break is over, time to help Mom and Dad finish the digging.

After the digging.

George and Kris finishing up the retaining wall.
After placing the retaining wall, it was time to get started with the shed portion. Most of the work happened during the work day, so Amy was less than helpful. Thanks to Pat for picking up the slack and painting the shed for her.
Floor's done, ready for walls.

Put the doors on Dad and my garage will be finished.

After
After getting it put together, Kris painted the floor and put up shelves and it was time to load it up! We think it turned out absolutely Awesome and are loving the extra storage room!

Another fun project that Amy came up with is decorating their basement view! We have four windows that needed some sprucing up. See the finished project below!
Kris and Karsten enjoying the view.
