SIX? Why am I surprised Every time my kiddos get older. Realistically, I get it, but come on! ... stay little for just a tad longer. Kasey decided to have an indoor swim party at our nearby Parker Rec center. They had just recently completed a renovation and we heard the new items were amazing. We are talking a climbing wall, splash zone, lazy river and super cool slide. What else would you have for a swim party? Shark cake of course!
I have to giggle at this pic of my family and the cake. Was trying for a family photo, but Kasey's school friend, Mason, was just dying to be in the pic. Didn't have the heart to kick him out - he was too cute!
After snacks, cake and presents... it was time for some swimming! Most the time was spent in the splash zone, but some of the kiddos (Maddy and Tyson) got adventurous enough to try the massive new tube slide. It winds around the outside of the building and comes back in for a strong finish. Totally fun! Maddy even tried out the climbing wall! Fun was had by all and we were so glad Kasey's friends were able to join in the fun!
We also got to celebrate separately with the Cannode clan! We hit up Chuck E Cheese for some fun and Brewery Bar for some tasty mexican!
Who only celebrates once for their birthday? This kid got to celebrate AGAIN in Fargo, but more on that later.
