Are you Ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

Ok, so the Broncos are out, but ... I will let YOU tell my boys that.  I didn't want to crush their spirit.

A year ago, the Woodards gave the boys their very own football gear.  It is Definitely a Hit!  Often, they can be found running around in their jerseys and helmets. We love that we get front row seats to watch the Future Bronco players doing their practice runs.
Future Hall of Famer's? We'll see.

Cannode Christmas 2012

The day after Kasey's birthday party, we celebrated another birthday.  It was time to celebrate an early birthday for Jesus.  The kids were excited for another party and of course for the presents.  We started out our day with appetizers and a yummy ham dinner.  I think the kids liked the appetizers, especially the Snowman cheese ball.
Who wants to dip their veggies in Ranch?

"I do, I do" says Grandpa

Kasey wasn't really into the "family photo", however,
notice the fancy flower in his hair!  So Pretty!
After dinner, we had to do more family photo ops and thankfully the kids cooperated this time.  Say Cheese-Ball!  As you can see in a few pics - Santa came early and left a few (ok - many) presents for them.  The boys were especially excited to receive snow shovels.  They keep asking to help shovel every time it snows.  Our answer every time? ... SURE!  Lets just hope this trend continues until they are 18 and head off to college.

I Love how much they Love giving hugs!

The boys had so much fun snow shoeing last year & want to go again
* Did Kris realize this meant HE needed a pair too!

The boys got a Race Track!

Mom! Uncle David got me a laptop like his!

Karsten made a pretty picture for mommy and daddy

The air compressor was driving Kris nuts wrapped
next to the tree.  Was fun to watch them all open it!

Who needs presents when you have wrapping paper to play with

They think they are in a canoe!

Supporting our teams
After we were done with dinner and presents, we decided it would be fun to go to zoo lights.  It wasn't too cold yet and we didn't think it would be that busy.  Well, we were definitely wrong about busy.  Still a line, but worth the wait.  We got to see lots of fun lights, a couple real animals that were awake inside and of course Santa!  As you can see below - Kasey was not really into the evening.  Guess someone missed their nap with all the excitement today.  Oh well, we promised Santa that even though he was in a mood today - overall... he was a Great Boy and definitely deserved his race car he requested for Christmas.

As you can see the boys weren't sure about Santa

Kasey is THREE!

This year was special ~ due to Holiday travel, we decided to have Two parties for our little Three year old.  We celebrated early with the Cannodes and Kasey's Godparents (Eric, Jackie and their daughter Mady).  We enjoyed some traditional Lasagna (made with love by Gpa Cannode) and of course a yuumy Birthday cake (made with love by our good friend, Sandy Tucker).  Even the room was decorated with Love (by Mommy and Daddy).  Needless to say, this boy is Definitely LOVED!

The Theme for the year has been Buzz Lightyear.  As you may have noticed in other posts; he was Buzz for Halloween and Buzz was his favorite balloon during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  So, what else could we do for his birthday... Buzz!  Dinner was great and the company was even better!

Kasey rushed through dinner so he could get to his Buzz cake.  I am not sure if he was more excited for the cake or the action figure!  Kris had to hold his hands back so he didn't grab the action figure before the pic was taken!

Mom, You forgot my fork...
No Worries! I Got This!
Cake is Always follwed by Presents!  Kasey was spoiled as always and I loved the he wanted Every present out Immediately to play with each one of them.  Even Karsten got in on the fun and got a Helicoptor from Gma and Gpa Cannode.

A party wouldn't be complete without beating up your brother with a balloon.  We even had nice music playing for us by some talented artists.  Then, Amy tried to bite her tongue as the kids crawled on her dining room table to put together Kasey's puzzle.  It was Too Cute to say No.  Overall, a Totally successful Birthday party!  Thank you to everyone for joining us in this fun and important celebration of our little man!

Breakfast with my Boys

The best way to start a Saturday morning?  Breakfast with my boys.  Karsten spent all morning cooking in the kitchen and taking requests.  Of course he knew the First Thing Mommy needed was her Coffee... followed by a fresh doughnut.  Kasey chose French Fries for Breakfast instead.  All I know is that everyone was happy with their choices and stuffed by the end of breakfast.

A Perfect Saturday Morning!
