The Birthday Man

The day before Kris' actual birthday, we were able to get our entire Cannode crew over to Red Lobster!  What a yummy place to enjoy a family evening.  We even got to catch up on David's new job!  That is correct, David no longer works for Dish as he starts working at ProBuild TODAY!  So Exciting!!

What is a birthday without presents?  He got a really cool video camera to wear skiing and of course... CSU gear!  You can never have too much CSU gear.

Kris' actual birthday was nice a relaxed.  The Best way to start a birthday totally includes watching cartoons and cuddling with some snuggle bunnies.

 Mommy helped Kasey make Daddy a cake for his birthday.  He stirred in the ingredients and when Mom wasn't looking.... he even decorated it!

That night we had a great dinner followed by yummy cake.  Did I mention we had guests stay with us on Kris' birthday?  Yep!  Becca Darling and her son, Cole.  Cole was doing a gymnastics competition in Colorado Springs that weekend and we got to sneak in a visit before they flew back to ND.  Good thing too!  Cole was an Excellent cake cutter!

Karsten was really excited to see Daddy has a 3 on his cake.  Karsten now thinks daddy and he are the same age!  Well, kinda... Daddy is 3 6!

What a fun birthday weekend!  And can you believe it... I wrote the entire post without mentioning how Kris is as old as Dirt! ... whoops... spoke too soon.  Love You and Happy Birthday!
