The Best Chatfield Camphosts

After the Rodeo, we headed to Chatfield to check out George and Pat's new digs for the summer.  They are taking a time out on traveling to watch their grand kids grow.  We could Not be Happier!  We are so excited for an entire summer of campfires, boating, and laughter.  If this night was any indication... It will be One of the Best Summers Ever!

George and Pat took their scooter out that day and the boys wanted to try it out.  Karsten had a blast steering and Kasey pointed to the ignition and asked Grandpa where the keys were.  We are In Trouble when he gets older.  They are Already wanting to drive!

 It didn't take much to convince grandpa to build a fire.  Amy asked once ... he considered it, but didn't move quick enough.  About 15 minutes later - Kasey asked Grandpa to build him a fire.  Well, that built a fire right under Grandpa's butt.  He was out of his chair within 30 seconds and had a wonderful fire set up.  Amy will have to ask Kasey for advice how to get Grandpa to move so quickly!

Quite the night considering it was a last minute self invite to the Cannode's new home.  The Cannode's brought pizza and of course plenty of entertainment with the boys.  All in All - could not have been more fun!  Here is to looking forward to an entire summer with George and Pat.  Welcome Home, Mom and Dad!!!
